Going to the Nelson Atkins Museum or Art tonight. We’re always excited to go to the museum. There is an exhibit that is on loan that we are wanting to see called “Painted Worlds: Color and Culture in Mesoamerican Art”.

For years, the Food and Drug Administration provided an informational webpage for parents warning them of the dangers of bogus autism treatments, some promoted by anti-vaccine activists and “wellness” companies. The page cited specifics scams and the “significant health risks” they pose.

Ok, so this is probably the stupidest question ever, but I’m wondering, how long has everyone here been able to go without sleeping?

We are going to have a dinner party! I’m on vacation in a couple of weeks and we’re going to have friends over. The theme is cozy soup. I’m going to make a Minestrone, Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice, and a hearty beef stew. And plenty of bread to go along with it of course.

Ok, the Pisces part has to do more with a special interest of mine as I am a Pisces and am interested in horoscopes. But something I’ve noticed and heard often is that Pisces often take in others emotions as their own, and tend to get really sensitive. I am like this with a lot of people, but primarily those I am close to.

Still playing catch up and putting out fires. Have a doctor’s appointment today, that I don’t want to go to mainly because of this flu going around. But I plan on masking up.

I’m going to start with something positive: My parents said my sister was in great spirits tonight.

Didn’t plan on writing this, but am officially freaked out. My younger sister is on her way to a psych ward right now, apparently she is severely depressed. I feel like it’s all my fault. I’m so afraid, this is her second time there. Just needed to rant.

Watching bread baking videos and listening to Lana snore.

I really didn’t want to have to write this out, as I am ready to just shout at someone, but my family and I are about to have game night and I don’t want to ruin it by constantly shouting stuff. Therefore, it’s being written here.

My head hurts. Took some Tylenol (for the tism) and icy hot. Hopefully it will calm down.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had mixed feelings about positive acknowledgement, specifically praise and encouragement. Occasionally I enjoyed it, but most times, I could not stand it.

Happy New Year! I hope yours was quieter than mine. We rang in the year with our cats. Unfortunately our neighbors have fireworks and firearms. “Celebrations” went until 1:00AM.

It’s New Year’s Eve. I don’t make resolutions.

Three more days and I get to go back out to the field. Soon, so soon.

Regarding my post about me being the “attention hog,” I often feel left out from my family, primarily when it comes to one on one time. The only time I ever get the “good attention” that I want is on my birthday, because it’s a day all about me.

Well the cold is here. As is Bert!

I’ve been wondering this for a long time. I, a 19 year old with level 1 Autism, am very young for my age. A lot of people tell me I look like I’m 12, as I do not wear makeup or dress like most women my age. I also don’t use the slang that everyone else seems to use. For example, my younger sister is always using the terms, “chat,” “peak” and “67.” I know what most of it means, but don’t see the point in saying it.

My beer is stocked. This is the basement refrigerator, the upstairs is full of food I promise!

We got Betty a new jar for Christmas! I fed her last night so she’s about to explode out of it. But that’s ok because I’m going to use her to make my dough in about an hour.

Ok, I know I am being super paranoid about this, but I don’t think I’ve ever struggled this much with a decision in my life.

It’s Christmas! And we are spending the day at home with our cats! Yay! We are going out to have dinner with my in-laws tonight but that will be pretty chill. Just four of us at a quiet restaurant.

Hoping for a short day. Have to get home and bake for tonight. We do a family gathering with my wife’s family on Christmas Eve, then spend Christmas Day at home in our pajamas feasting on Christmas Eve leftovers.

I have leveled up my bread making! I got a proofing bag. (It’s definitely a bag that looks like a box) We keep our house at 66F/18.88C in the winter which is a little too cold for dough. But this fun tool changes all of that!

Hoping to just mostly relax today. Hazel and Millie love ribbon time.

I SLEPT! OMFG I had not gotten more than four hours of sleep at a time the whole week. This makes me umm temperamental. But now I have sleep. I will make bread and then visit friends. Then we are going Christmas shopping! We have already done the important stuff, but we have a tradition of going out to a store with trinkets and snacks. There we buy each other our stocking stuffers.

Today started out normal, then my mom and I were talking about me getting a job. I mentioned being a dishwasher at a local baseball stadium (young children are invited to work there every summer). My mom then got really defensive and stated all the negatives of being a dishwasher but said that if that’s what I wanted, that it’s fine. She likes to give off mixed messages sometimes.

Ready to go home and crash. Overnight sucks. But tonight is my last night of it.

Sleep deprivation is starting to kick in. Millie discovered the dishwasher creates a warm spot on the counter.

If you want more Autism content then fucking post autism content. But don’t fucking complain when someone that has autism and ADHD post ADHD memes. Especially when that person is about only person making posts here other than myself.

Is it time to go home? I really want to go home.

I go back on nights tonight for one more week. But I go back to my regular job next month, so there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.
