Cycling in Dublin rises 50% as most residents back more bike lanes

infrastructure makes a difference. When I got into biking I was like. I used to bike in high school. How did I ever get out of this habit. The answer was infrastructure. My cities bike lanes made biking available to me. Im not a take the lane guy. My wife would still not but once they started doing protected bike lanes it became possible for her.

That’s fantastic news. We have a lot of nay sayers in Galway when we tried to get a cycling lane in Salthill a few years back - particularly from business owners. Onward and upwards!
