Gothic metal with heavy touches of black and folk metal. From Portugal, in 1995. Linked is the closer to their debut, and my personal favorite of theirs, nothing else tops this. Reminds me a lot of certain Moonsorrow tracks.
Finnish melodic death/power metal band released a playlist favorite of mine. Similar sound to Children of Bodom. That is the voice of Ensiferum's harsher vocalist you hear on this track. Also got a music vid.
Solider Stahl aus Gelsenkirchen wird mit „The Arsonist“ von SODOM geliefert. Oldschool-Thrash von sehr guter Qualität, dem Drummer Toni Merkel seinen Stempel aufgedrückt hat.
Black metal and grindcore come together to create this beautifully haunting track. Anaal Nathrakh have made better stuff before this album came out and since, but this track stood out to me, especially the intro before the beat takes off.
„This Godless Endeavour“ Nevermores geniale bisher letzte Großtat. Ein Meisterwerk des progressiven Thrash. Fein ziselierte Riffs, in den Refrains großartige Melodien und theatralischer Gesang.
