Jeffrey Epstein: Bad Pedophile is a 20-minute satire that’s half biopic, half true crime, and 100 percent dumb (complimentary). It launches in theaters in New York City, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and San Francisco for one day only on October 2; after that it will be available online.

*The Paper*, the streamer’s spinoff series to NBC’s classic comedy The Office, has been renewed one day ahead of its release date. The series hails from former Office showrunner Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. All 10 episodes will be available to stream on Peacock on Thursday.

The news is part of a larger roster refresh at “SNL,” which this week saw the departure of Heidi Gardner after eight seasons, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker after three seasons each, and Emil Wakim after one season.

Today Netflix announced a new adult animated comedy series, Strip Law from Cullen Crawford (*Star Trek: Lower Decks*, *Farzar*, *The Late Show with Stephen Colbert*), Underground and Titmouse Inc. The 10-episode series set in Las Vegas will be released on Netflix on February 20, 2026.

By making Big Tech the hero in a movie about government surveillance, the dismally rated remake feels more like an ad for Amazon than anything else.
