What did he expect?
Not really disagreeing with you, but - it’s just that (in the past at least) you’d expect mainland China to be a tad stricter and less flexible about this compared to HK, but it seems like this time it was the other way around. So slightly surprising. But only slightly.
Less repression from China I presume. Heh.
