    How can a water company go into debt? The product is provided freely and everyone needs water.

    Ofwat aren’t here to protect the consumer.

      I worked for Thames Water for nearly ten years and I can absolutely confirm that the business model is to maximise turnover.

      The more turnover, the more you can justify charging the customer and the cream off the top for the shareholders grows.

      Interest on debt is just another so called justification to pick our pockets. In my opinion it should be illegal but we live in a world where the rich looks after the rich and fuck anybody else.
