Almost 40 pounds since the beginning of March.
Changed my diet, went harder on the workouts.
330 -> 291 as of Monday.
I remember losing 120lb and the way people suddenly treat you different. Admittedly I lost a bit more than weight, but I've worked hard.
how did your parents take your transition? mine would get mad if i became a redhead.
Hopefully right up the ass. Tbh they are awful people and I hope every day they have the day they voted for.
See, this is just bad scientific methodology. You changed multiple variables at the same time and now you can't determine which one caused the different treatment. Smh women can't do science.
(hopefully obvious but: just kidding of course, that is awesome)
Against all the evil that treats can conjure, all the tastiness that mankind can produce, we will diet unto them... only you. Rip and tear, until it is done
Exactly what I’ve been thinking as I’ve started to focus on my health too. Feels like wasted time and it’s been much easier than I led myself to believe. I thought I’d need a buddy to motivate me to go to the gym and get active again. But now I just do it after I get off work. Even if it’s just riding a bike for 30 minutes, just to be active for some time instead of wasting it sitting around doing nothing has been so much better. I feel better physically and mentally.
If this is you too, do it! Make it an investment in yourself. It’s worth the time and money put in. Not that you need to be a bodybuilder and get absolutely jacked, but to be more active in your everyday life will improve so much for you that you never considered. After just 2 weeks of spending at least 30 minutes or more exercising, I was starting to notice results in my sleep, the way I felt mentally, the way I move about (no more being out of breath just walking up a hill; I can now walk a whole mile without taking a breather).
If you don’t like the gym, there are alternatives like the Nintendo Switch has an awesome fitness game that is fun and entertaining and really works you out called Ringfit Adventure. There’s also VR gaming which has tons of games and apps designed to help you work out.
Now comes the eating for me, getting into being more picky and choosy about what I put into my body to further move along in this process, which has been more difficult than just getting the motivation to go to the gym, but will also be worth it in the long run.
had to double-check the community name, never expected greentext in a wholesome community 😅
Keep it up you fat pice of shit
Even if you just walk you’re still faster than people sitting on the couch.
acshually depends if you're walking against or with the spin of the earth but whatever
Apparently the average radius of the Earth at its equator is 6,378,000m. This means that in a day, someone sitting on a couch at the equator would travel (2 * \pi * 6378,000)m, which equals 40053840m. There are around 86,400 seconds in a day, so the equatorial couch sitter travels at 464m/s (rounded to 3s.f). That's 1040mph.
I think the average walking speed is 3pmh. Amusingly, the mph figure I calculated above is 1037 if rounded to 4s.f. rather than 3, so the speed difference between the walker and a couch sitter is literally a rounding error.
The conclusion here is something that everyone here already knew before I wrote this comment: it's hard to make any sense of individual human health progress if we try to think of it on a planetary scale.
The mix of standard and weird US units hurts my head.
Not me, I can roll across my couch at lightning speed.
Real and Straight. Proud of Anon.
If you like anon that much why don't you gay marry him huh
Because I can be platonically proud of him, duh.
Well ancient Greeks were famously gay so that answers that
Checkmate atheists
Idk dude, marrying another dude is kinda gay. Just stay in the closet marry a woman and cheat on her at a bath house with the homies. If it's with another homie it ain't gay, just practice
Straightness unconfirmed
Allowness unconfirmed
most of the time it's because of something out of the person's control not that being fat is even a bad thing. I for one just lost 48 lbs literally just by getting on Wellbutrin, went from 310 to 262 in a couple months. It's usually like a genetic or metabolism thing, or they were on a med that made then gain weight, something.
It’s bad for Your health
Being fat is a bad thing. Its bad for you health and self image. No one wakes up wanting to be fat. Don't be afraid to fat shame, that will atleast motivate those fookers a bit
True, no one wakes up with a goal to be fat. But if you had to choose between being full symptom schizophrenic and being fat the choice is more nuanced
Out of context comparsion we are talking about body weight🤓
Do you believe that weight gain is not a side effect medication or are you just being obtuse because its fun?
It can be. But then it's especially important to look out for your physical health. Don't let medication be an excuse to let it get out of hand
As a fellow lemm.ee user, I sincerely hope you don't end up picking a new instance.
Lol don't be on internet forums if you can't handle other opinions
Its not a bad thing unless the person doesn't enjoy it, but regardless of weight, everyone should get some simple daily exercises

What a miserable cunt you are, mate
If the only thing that brightens your day is coming on the internet to disparage the joy of others, your life is really dreary.
Where does it say that's the only thing that brightens their day?
The part where they're on 4chan, duh. ;)
Go take a walk friend, you've been online too long
They can't, they'd have a heart attack from the strain.
