Have you ever fallen asleep during a speech?

I know someone (my ex-girlfriend) who has but I haven’t.

If a teacher's monologue counts, certainly!

There's no sleep like class sleep. Five minutes feels like an eight hour rest.

One time, but someone was kind enough to wake me up so I could finish it.

Yes. During all of them. Sitting still and trying to pay attention to someone talking means sleepy time for me.

That doesn't sound normal to me. I know the feeling of heavy eyelids in such a situation whenever I haven't slept well, so if that's a regular occurrence for you, I'd look into trying to get better rest.

Yes, and i was speaking :(

You must’ve been really tired

Like mid talking or listening? I've done both, but I want to know the question.

(It's easy to fall asleep when listening, but you need to be a special kind of tired to fall asleep mid sentence, or even better, dream-speak a few nonsense sentences)
