Well, why would anyone do that unless they were up to something shady? Is there some legitimate reason for this? Seems doubtful.

Looks to me as if an active coup is currently under way.

And we’re going to find out if there’s anyone in Washington who’s going to try to stop it.

No, people are all talk. Very few people wanna do anything uncomfortable. Not only that, fed workers get paid good and have amazing benefits. They’ll bitch and moan, but very few will do anything drastic.

It’s really sort of astonishing sometimes how complete your lack of integrity is.

Tell me - do you apply this “logic” in other situations?

Like, for instance, if someone were to walk up to you on the street and say, “You can either give me all your money or I’ll beat you up and take it from you,” and you were to then give them your money, that would somehow not count as a robbery since you “accepted” their “offer”?

Ah, but that’ll have to just be a rhetorical question, since the one thing that you’ll never do is actually answer it honestly…

Thanks, I appreciate that you think I’m astonishing!

Equating someone volutnerally accepting severance to a robbery is hilarious. And rediculous.

The comparison you’ve drawn between accepting a severance package and being robbed under threat of violence is hilarious and misleading. lol

A severance package is contractual and consensual. It’s an offer made by an employer to an employee that includes benefits the employee is not automatically entitled to, in exchange for certain things like waiving the right to sue or agreeing to a non-compete clause.

Employees have the choice to accept or decline based on their assessment of their personal and financial situation—there is no coercion involved. Unlike your silly robbery example.

Robbery is a clear act of coercion and threat, where consent is not truly given but forced under duress. The “choice” to give up your money to avoid physical harm isn’t a choice at all—it’s an act of self-preservation under immediate threat. Comparing the violent compulsion of a robbery to the corporate terms of a severance is not only a false equivalence but trivializes the serious and violent nature of actual robberies.

Your analogy conflates coercion with lawful employment practices. Maybe you outta stick with the reality of situations without resorting to exaggerated comparisons.

I get it: you’re made that Trump won. Get over it. These people don’t have to fucking work for the government. It’s not slavery. It’s not robbery.

People like you make me soooo happy that Trump won. You legit have no idea how the world works outside of the tech jobs sector. lol

No one owes them, you, or even me a fucking job. I support Trump on this issue!

              Thanks, friend! :)

I’ll admit, it’s nice to be referred to as “astonishing,” but I legit don’t know what you are referring to here?

Do you think what I said was in error? Do you honestly think that federal workers are going to engage in a coup? Friend, come on now…
