Got muted/deleted from usa@lemmy.ml for not agreeing with the popular college-level narrative that ‘Israel=Fascism’ (I was suggesting the ‘Israel shouldn’t exist’ approach is stupid and extreme) but mods left the other guy’s totally not extremist comments up. Looked up one of the mods’ history. Full of anti-west/pro-russia content…

I know that ml can be a bit strict and unreasonable about things sometimes but honestly if you said this on other servers and the admins were aware of you saying it. I’m sure they’d ban you as well for being a racist pig, this shit is absolutely unacceptable, and you absolutely deserve the ban you got for it. No sympathy from us here.

My opinion is he deserved it, I know ml can be strict about censorship but many of these comments are very extreme, and uncalled for.
My favorite part is where one of the Lemmy.ml admins/devs (Dessalines) comes in and says “Comparing Trump’s treatment of minorities to Kamala is liberals fantasizing about minority murders”. Projection is truly an art with them.
