Verstehe ich es richtig, dass Downvotes dann keine Rolle spielen? Wenn dies der Fall ist, können die 10 Vorschläge aber nicht über eine einfach Top-Sortierung ausgewählt werden, denn dabei werden die Beiträge nach Score sortiert und nicht nur nach Anzahl der Upvotes.
I still think multi-communities would be a good feature, even if not for this particular problem. (For example, to a have a dedicated “music” feed that includes several communities for different music styles you are interested in.)
This is maybe some “jazz rock” that you would find at the one dollar bin and wouldn’t pay much attention to. (Not to criticize your post, of course.)
For this one I would expect vaporwave, cloud rap or something else ethereal (not sure if that’s the appropriate word)
I would assume the music style is “dark IDM” or something like that because of the mostly dark image and the monospace font.
4·16 days agoWhy do you restrict it to OC (base) images only? I wouldn’t have a problem with non-OC images (if the source is also provided).
Another fun idea for such a community would be to include the genre/style of the fictional music album based on the imaginary album art.

The base image is AI-generated according to the creator. You can notice this by looking at her hand for example.

Some instances disable downvotes. This is an important thing to consider for anything related to post/comment scores.
Edit: I also fear that a karma system would encourage just sticking with the overall Lemmy, instance or community mainstream, more than it is now already the case with up/downvotes and how they affect the sorting of posts/comments.
