Several medias report toppling of Assad and rebels entering Damascus. But the plane crash is unconfirmed.
Also, don’t assume the new ruler(s) will behave much better than Assad.

I’m amazed to see how many people are cheering for this, claiming Syria to be “free”. This rebel group is led by the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda, which is already bad, but there’s also a high probability that there will be infighting now that the common enemy has been defeated. Either way, I don’t see any sort of relieve for Syria because of this.
