Well it certainly looks more appealing than the last half dozen gray and dreary Superman movies I’ve seen advertised.

Superman is perhaps the most boring character in all of fiction. It’s not even a character really, it’s is a brand.

Only because recent Superman adaptations have been made by people who don’t get Superman. OverlySarcasticProductions has a great video called Satirizing Superman where they go into what makes Superman so great.

DC movies have been a total crap show for along time, but goddamn that score hit me right in the chest. This better be good James.

Lot happening here I’m unfamiliar with, but I’m guessing this is going to have some humor considering one of the first appearances is Krypto.

Looks like he snuck an appearance in for Christopher Reeve’s son William. That’s pretty nice.

    Wowee another super hero.

I hope I get to hear their origin story for the umpteenth time.

That’s actually the nice part about this one. Somehow it took them this long, but they finally had a moment of realization that everyone knows who these characters are so this time were diving right in and skipping that part with the expectation you already know all that. Less story, more action, and something new. It’s about dam time someone had that super easy idea…

Idk about the casting in this… Superman looks like he’s in his early 20’s and Louis looks like she’s in her mid 30s. I don’t mind either actors individually, but together it just seems like an odd pairing.

I feel like the reverse would be kinda creepy, like if Superman was in his mid 30’s trying to pick up a Lois as a fresh out of school intern at the daily planet.

He’s 31, she’s 34 (the actors). I think you might be thrown off by how Hollywood always has extremely young actresses playing older roles while older guys get cast as young characters. They look like they’re similar ages to me.

Eh, I mean I generally think the whole old actor and young actress trope is creepy as well. I just never would have thought the guy playing Superman was in his thirties, he just looks babyfaced to me.

I also was under the impression that this was going to be more of an origins story, with Clark making his way to the big city kinda thing, but that may have been a misconception on my part.

Oh yeah, it’s definitely creepy both ways. Just speculating on why their ages might have looked so off to you. I know media has influenced my perception of what people actually look like at a given age!
