    I feel like separating the commercial attacks from defending sovereign aggression would go a LOOOONG way towards legitimising them in the eyes of anyone not currently bombing them.

        attacking shipping was the only international response against the genocide.

        if the genocide ends and they stop attacking commercial shipping in response, regardless of continued attacks from the west, that almost smells like the moral high ground to me.
