The regulation provides that by 2027 portable batteries incorporated into appliances should be removable and replaceable by the end-user, leaving sufficient time for operators to adapt the design of their products to this requirement.
I know, right? I love mine. The CEO of GM loves hers. Supposedly the data-harvesting Equinox EV will replace it sometime in the next few years, despite it not being a 1:1 replacement.
