Just waiting for them to replace their anticheat with something Steam Deck friendly.
Their version of EAC actually does work with Linux/Steam Deck. I’m playing on Linux. They’re planning to move to a different anti-cheat for their official servers but I believe community servers will still be able to just use EAC.
Easy anti cheat usually is. From Software likes to use it, and Elden Ring even ran better on Linux compared to Windows for a while.
The Battle Bit devs said they are going to move to a different anti cheat product that usually excludes Linux players, but they also said they’ll try to disable features on the anti cheat to prevent that.
shame that in Elden Ring you need to disable the anticheat to play in ultrawide and beyond 60 fps
Aren’t they still planning to swap EAC with FACEIT. If that happens, you can keep your malware, I’m out.
Controller support when? Literally the only thing keeping me from the game.
Man up and use a mouse and keyboard like adults?
Aren’t you a real grown up. So manly, too. Wow. Of course you can show me your toys. You play them all by yourself? Such a big boy… man!
How about: Grow up?
Man it was an obvious joke. Lmao the downvotes 😂
Only a workaround, but steam has great controller settings, and they can even emulate kb+m.
I can’t wait to get my system together so I can get in on this action. Been a while since I was on KB&M
