I might be more upset if I thought elections would be free or fair. I am actually excited to see the neoliberals take the L in the midterms because they fully deserve it.

It’s already republican lite. They are delulu thinking, “if only we turn some Republicans to our side.” What they will never understand is RNC votes are non transferable. Chasing conservatives whose minds can be changed was always a stupid idea. Obama showed that a message of positive and progressive change increases turnout which favors the Dems because the people who just want things to run smooth or improve are a lot less engaged than the ones who want to tear it down.

Thank you - I’m sick of being told class issues cannot be separated from social issues. You have to be laser focused on: all issues are class issues. Adding social issues as a non-negotiable factor is self-defeating. Remember: all issues are class issues. Lock that in, do not be distracted by anything else claiming one isn’t possible without the other. All issues are class issues, period.
My stance, as the one cis/het guy in my chosen peer group, is this:
Put everyone on even footing at base. No lynchings, no treating this or that group as inherently sexual or evil or whatever.
Once we have established that baseline. Go back to fifties era taxation for the wealthy.
Point Two should help with point one by way of focusing our rage at the people who have been gleefully pitting us at each other while they siphon money from us.
