With millions in expanded tax credits and direct state funding going to anti-abortion groups, the nonprofit Coalition Life has expanded its operations beyond Missouri and into states where the procedure is still legal.
Bingo. They know everything they stand for is unpopular. They have to rely on the electorate being stupid to win. And through long hard fought efforts to cripple the Missouri education system as much as possible, it’s a pretty reliable bet.
That’s why the reactionaries love forcing such ballot measures to be worded confusingly and/or use loaded language.
