It’s more likely Israel is funding hamas to make it easier to wipe out Palestinians. But you’re probably deep throating the propaganda by the shovels to ever notice anything out of place.

      • Hamas conveniently launches rockets from schools/hospitals. Israel issues warning to evacuate how nice of them, right?

      • Israel turns schools/hospitals to ground

      • 1 less school for education, 1 less hospital for treatment. Pushes people to extremism but why are they hate us? ㄟ(ツ)ㄏ

      • Affected Palestinians get displaced, discouraged, and move away

      • Settlers sweep in like zombies

      • Rinse and repeat * 50 years

How bloody convenient, ain’t it? You get to claim they use human shields and civilian infrastructures, and you get to kill civilians with impunity.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

A mother in Iran, whose son was reportedly killed after being shot repeatedly at close range by security forces, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison by an Iranian court after she demanded justice for her child on social media.

Videos and photos of her son’s body riddled with shotgun pellets went viral on social media during the mass protests sparked by the death in custody of Mahsa Amini, a young Kurdish woman who was arrested by Iran’s “morality police” for not wearing her hijab correctly.

Hours after the news of the sentence was published, Yazdani’s daughter, Mitra Zahedi, shared a post on Instagram that read: “What will happen to my three-year-old brother?

It added: “Hundreds of mothers in Iran have been blocked from pursuing justice for their murdered loved ones while themselves being persecuted for simply raising their voices.”

His father, who had publicly begged for mercy for his son before his execution and called for justice for him and other young protesters on social media, was reportedly arrested in August and is believed to remain in detention.

Speaking on a condition of anonymity, a close relative of Kumar Daroftadeh, a 16-year-old killed by the security forces in October 2022, said: “Mothers are being persecuted for seeking justice for their sons murdered by the regime.

These people are so brave and I hope I’ll live to see the day they can live their lives in freedom and peace.

        Indeed.
I still can’t understand why they picked up Jihadist over their US like lifestyle back in the 70s

It’s very complicated, but I think the jihadist picked them, not the other way around. They were fleeing the country like flies.

I’m going to do some reading about it soon, since it’s been a while and everything is hazy.

I’m no way historian but AFAIK Jihadists were exiled at the time but people made (de)revolution so one day you got jeans and bikiny and next day all the covering dark age dresses.
