well mostly just figuring out a good laptop to get that can also handle dev anddd affording it (also i want a thinkpad T_T)
What’s your budget? Just got a used amd thinkpad t14s gen 1 for under $400 off of ebay. It runs BazziteOS great. Even played some light games (ultimate chicken horse) on it and it runs perfectly fine.

I got a T520 off of ebay for 90€, so you might want to give it a shot. Your experience may vary of course.
Just switched to fedora silverblue because I want to try out immutable OS’s but nixOS hurt my brain too much
Yeah it’s definitely very different from any other distro I’ve used before Im starting to get it though :D. Good luck with silverblue!
