Even Paul’s writings about women speaking above men needs to take into context that the church in Ephesus (modern day turkey) was led by young Timothy. The theme was pretty strict to reestablish a baseline of roles and law to apply to Ephesus, which was seen as very immoral, murderous and rebellious. I mean Paul says people should stay celibate and not marry because this can complicate a person’s relationship with God.

Oh wow I’ve been blaming alcohol abuse on brain fog. I quit drinking last year but still can’t remember words all the time, same with finishing sentences. Struggling with being articulate all the time. And this all started during covid.

I’ve seen what my cats drink and eat. They find stagnant puddles riddled with mosquito larva and eat grass and dirt. I still give them filtered water in a nice constantly running pet water fountain.

Make sense now? We as pet owners don’t think they can eat garbage or drink filthy water. But we’ve observed it. We don’t actively give them garbage or filthy water.
