Yes, there’s another pump back in the main line from the boiler.
With the bypass valve closed, the hot water doesn’t seem to circulate at all - either down the bypass or through the loops.
And, the thermostat on the circulating pump there switches it off below whatever temp you set. Once switched off, then the top rail starts to heat (implying that got water is now going into the loops). So strange , I just can’t get my head around how it’s ‘supposed’ to work, let alone if it’s actually working properly.
I sang semi-professionally for quite a few years. Used to use in-ear monitors and they do a similar thing - you do get used to it pretty quickly, or at least it becomes less annoying!
Just North of Punakaiki, West Coast, SI.
A bit cloudy here but still stunning
Well my comment aged well 😂 Had a sensational display here. Awe inspiring
Sounds like this morning’s display was pretty decent, but expected to subside by tonight :(
Ooh, hadn’t heard of the Night Manager. Looks good, Cheers!
Sounds like we have similar taste! Funnily enough, I couldn’t get into Shogun though.
Oh man, such a good series.
I also enjoyed 11.22.63 - didn’t realise they’d made a series of it. Nice.
There’s some superb television in that series. Yes, the final season gets a bad rap, but it’s still worth watching. Enjoy!
Holy crap, they’re up to 16 seasons now? Unreal!
Yeah, it’s adjustments each time - moving the teeth in different directions. But appointments are usually no more than 15 minutes, so it’s definitely not in depth!
I love where we live, but this is definitely one of the downsides!
Has been a very regular six-weekly trip right from the start. Maybe another 9-12 months to go, so at least six more trips!
Day trip to Nelson for Monster Number 1 and I today - we’re 15 months into his orthodontic treatment, with trips up every six weeks or so. It seemed like a good idea at the time 😂
First time for me. Really excited.
Yes, it’s a fairly tight crop from the original. Was awesome to see the big herc dropping its flares!
On my more optimistic days I see a future where plentiful, cheap energy (ie fusion) can drive technology that will halt, perhaps even reverse the damage we’ve done. And perhaps that’s even compatible with capitalism, as there are potential profits to be made.
More often though I see a difficult, painful future for the human species, with massive famines, human displacement and wars over the resources that remain. I hope I’m wrong.
Oh man, I’m officially old. I don’t know a single song on that list 😂
I’ve tried. We’re rural and tradies just don’t want to know.
