Well yes, I don’t have a truck. I have a performance sportscar from the early 2010s instead. They’re all bad past early 2010s tbh.

Those are the base models for the most part. I’ve yet to see a new car better than something from 20 years ago
I mean, my high school had at least 1 suicide a year, so it’s not too much of a reach to say that some other event happened resulting in the loss of life.
New cars are kinda shitty. They collect a ton of data, don’t let you actually drive, have a million unecessary features built in to try to reduce the stupidity of drivers who should be nowhere near a motor vehicle and are super ugly to boot.
I do know a lot of people who tow, but I’m in motor racing circles where people are regularly hauling race cars through multiple states every week.
Like half of war propaganda can be reduced to this.
Next time the IS is at war all the tiktok girlies are going to be an invaluable asset
I can’t remember the last time I installed something from the front page of the App Store. I’m always searching for something specific
I’ve found that most people on this site don’t care about copyright in any form, so they’ll just ignore it like everything else
It’s a major inconvenience and I’ll stick to one. If it can’t be accessed from Lemmy.world it’s not really my problem tbh and I’ll just act like it doesn’t exist.
I’d say you’re probably a minority nowadays with music stored locally. More and more people have moved to some kind of streaming platform.
128gb is plenty unless you’re storing a lot of photos on device. If you’re storing > 100GB of photos on your phone and they’re not backed up somewhere else, you’re really setting yourself up for disaster
People who seek out rust are likely people who want to use rust. Java is still a huge player in enterprise dev, where a significant portion of active developers are. So not everyone using Java wants to use Java, but nearly everyone using rust wants to use rust.
I’m going to guess most Sublinks contributors aren’t going to be main branch Lemmy contributors due to the language difference. It’s what’s kept me from working on main branch Lemmy as I’m pretty much useless with Rust
Yep, I’m useless when it comes to rust. I can write Java/Spring in my sleep. A big barrier to entry to Lemmy contributions is not being familiar with rust
Damn, that was the game I was most excited for. Respawn FPS games are my favorite (TF1/Apex) and I was really interested to see what they’d do with star wars
Mine was too. We still had a couple systems using the old methods, but mostly had moved to the token system.
You also just get laid off? They took out ~50% of the payments department at my last job
And Stanford hates that they have to accept her too. I’m amazed they haven’t gone the way of the ivies and just stopped scholarship sports outside of the Olympic ones
Orchestra positions are often jobs that these people will keep for life or until a seat in a new orchestra opens up. There’s an extremely limited number of jobs. I had a fairly distant cousin audition for the Seattle Symphony, for the single open trumpet seat there were north of 200 applicants. It’s such an incredibly competitive field that if you walk out, you might just possibly never get back in.
All valid points.
Whatever it is, I’m having the best time gaming I’ve had in years with it, and at a $20 price point, I’m well happy to have bought it.
It’s certainly not well made, as it’s buggy as hell, but it is fun, and that’s been missing from a lot of games recently.
I’m playing exclusively in a multiplayer world with my brothers, and we’re having a blast. If I was playing alone it’d probably be less fun tbh.
Yes, but they’d miss out on the long term revenue, which is what everyone is chasing nowadays. There’s be no investors.
Tbh as a car enthusiast there’s been a few advances I’ve been interested in, but nothing really game changing in the affordable range.
