I think the appropriate accountability here would be to for those administrators to have to enroll their children in public school. If they think that’s a problem it’s up to them to make the schools better. The administrators obviously think public school students don’t need extra access to culture or expensive things, they’re doing just fine.

Suggesting all women flee Everytime a law is passed that doesn’t work for us is short sighted. I’m not leaving my entire support system on the chance I get pregnant. First off, we’re trying to get the laws changed. We’re voting, and getting new abortion guidelines on the ballots. Second, yes, all women in my state should have a little vacation fund in case they want to visit the North in a hurry. A six week ban is ridiculous.

Also a lot of libraries have other stuff you can check out! Tools, sewing machine, printer, photo scanner etc!

We scanned hundreds of old photos in minutes with the thousand dollar value equipment at our library totally for free! It was really cool! Ours has all kinds of equipment for converting old media to digital.

Plus these huge satellite maps of our city from the past, it’s like a 3.5’x3ft book of aerial photos. Idk what you’d need that for, but it was fun to look through them!

When I had a baby and then got COVID, I started washing my hands more often, and really too often. Maybe you’re right on the Japan thing, I always thought it was about distance from your thumb. Like A is closest and most common, then B, and some games mostly only use those, and then X, Y, and Z are for menus or less common actions, and of them, x is closest to your thumb. Makes more sense on an N64 controller or GameCube controller, and then the switch controller is just keeping the letters as consistent as possible.

If this were written for Americans it’d have the length of the snake in feet. Bowling lanes is such an absurd length comparison because you’re not allowed to walk on them, so you don’t really know how long they are anyway.
