Yep, pretty much
Yep, pretty much
The blessing exists. I’m in my 30s and my dad who’s in his 60s has more hair than me.
I like the tip for reading with toddlers!
It’ll be all the shit that’s sinking them
As if dairy fat isn’t subsidised already.
Okay, my original comment clearly came across as a weasel for COVID denial so sorry for that. Fuck denialism.
What I meant was that - like flu - it is an endemic respiratory virus which will be nasty but not fatal to most people. In certain contexts masks are less useful (not useless I suppose), and this is particularly in areas where mask use is minimal and strict (e.g. under the nose or constantly being touched without proper hand hygiene).
So what your cardiologist said could have been a realistic assessment of the current state of COVID, or denialism in which case they’re a dick.
There are varying levels of truth to that. How sincere were they?
Edit: See subsequent comment for clarity.
Meat rabbits?
Nothing too surprising, but nice nonetheless. Cool
What kind of possibilities?
Perhaps the time travellers came back as catering staff so they could polish it all off without having to engage in human interaction.
Legal doesn’t mean safe; it just means the lawmakers are too corrupt, stupid, cowardly, or weak to tighten the limit.
You sound like a donorcycle rider. One who is casual about potentially traumatising and/or injuring others.
To “affect” a change would be to alter the change itself, for example if the university had already been reviewing its portfolio then the protesters might be affecting the change by making it happen more quickly.
To “effect” a change would be to cause the change in the first place.
Very unlikely. Keith is pandering to the right on this issue.
A bit too much water between us for that.
Oof! Way out of my price range!
How? Why? You bastard!
With the recent publicity of LLM generated papers, would there be any strength of this platform to reject garbage science?
Yeah, it’s the one thing you just carry around. If I’m waiting for the kettle to boil it’s enough time to refresh Lemmy, but not enough to read even part of a chapter in a book.
