These are not US Service Members, they did not take an Oath to the US and they do not serve the US interests. Worked part time as custodian after getting out of the military. Definitely felt invisible and unappreciated, but always had someone breathing down my neck if something wasn’t cleaned to their standard. But never a thank you or good job.

Now Im a supervisor, (different company) and I always make it a point to talk with cleaning staff when I see them. They work too hard to be taken for granted, and Im always pushing up on my managers that our cleaning staff are underpaid. I’ve figured out what drinks and snacks they enjoy so made it a point to leave them in my office with a note for them to enjoy, and a couple of times managed to convince their team lead to let me buy them all dinner after they cleaned up some real messes my team left. Do my best to keep my team tidy and not leaving the place a disaster but our custodians are humble people who like to remind me they get paid to show up and clean up what my team can’t. If I could get a keg into my office without getting myself or them fired I probably would.

On the one hand OP certainly appears to be fishing for praise and compliments.

On the other hand, posts like these have a benefit to them, reminding people, especially those who live comfortable lives in well paying jobs, that everyone around them is still human and worth respecting regardless if they have the same skillset and background at you. Society as a whole would be a lot better if we showed everyone the same respect and compassion we think we deserve ourselves.

NATO is strictly a defensive alliance so any power that did start WW3 would be pretty damn stupid to be aggressive against NATO. And better for everyone this way, rather than give Russia a chance to chew up Eastern Europe country by country like they tried against Ukraine, Georgia and Chechnia.

Unless you happen to be Russian or some other power seeking to use military aggression, or the threat there of, against Europe or North America, NATO expansion is a good thing for all parties. The larger the alliance, the more viewpoints, training and speciality each nation can provide and there is less gap for something to get through. Ukraine is a perfect example of why this should have happened a long time ago but political will wasn’t there.

Sweden has a lot to offer NATO and vice versa, its certainly self sufficient for its military needs but with the defense guarantee it can now afford to diversity its military a bit more than its used to with not everyone and everything needing to adhere to a total defense doctrine. There won’t be any Swedish Expeditionary Forces but Sweden does have some rather unique experience and training it can exchange with its western neighbors and possible get some technology exchange and other material assistance to help shore up the northern borders of NATO. The Baltic Sea becoming a NATO lake just a bonus now if Russia tries to start or continue its usual shit.

If thats your take away you’ve clearly never played the games and only read reviews about them second or third hand. No one is saying the og trilogy was bad, but according to Jaffe they were writing epics… Which frankly is a far cry from the truth and they only got better as he had less and less involvement to GoW3 being cslled the best of the trilogy, ironically the game he’s not involved in making.

Literally every person I know that played it loved it more than the 2018 reboot, which is saying something since the 2018 GoW put the franchise back on the map after its years long downturn.

Why are shilling so hard for a has-been whose most noteable works had to taken away from his creative control to actually develop into something beyond a juvenile revenge fantasy?
