I downloaded that movie on a whim for a long flight to Australia and it was surprisingly solid. I didn’t know the source material and assumed it was a original concept. Annapurna’s games are usually top tier so hopefully their movies will be as well.
I don’t want to think about that poor Ferengi who has to clean DS9’s holodecks. Best case, cleaning is fully automated; worst case, Quark can get it done cheaper by lowballing his staff.

I don’t think this is a kerning issue, but rather a software one that read “Kurn” as “Kum” when converting the book to Kindle format. There are a bunch of other similar errors like this throughout which had my inner perfectionist screaming in rage, but this one cracked me up because apparently I’m 11 years old.
Or maybe the author actually wrote “Kum” given the other actual typos that aren’t kerning issues littered throughout the Kindle version (“Junie Lowery-Johnson”, the “Jenolen”, etc.).

Wow, what I wouldn’t give to erase my memory and watch some of those shows for the first time again.
I’m currently doing a rewatch of DS9 and I stand by my opinion that the second season is loaded with good episodes; most people shrug off the first two seasons and say the show doesn’t get good until the third season but not me.

This instance is my first real foray into the Fediverse (aside from an unused Mastodon account) and it’s been smooth sailing compared to the issues some other places have suffered through.
That Tomb Raider thing was completely asinine. It was a quality reboot of a series that had gone horribly off the rails with a lot of promise and Square tanked it with completely unreasonable expectations, apparently expecting sales in the dozens of millions. And here we are with FF apparently not meeting expectations as well–it’s easy to see where the issue is, and it’s not with the games.
If I’m not mistaken Sync’s dev is a relatively young guy (I recall reading he was a student a few years back) which likely means he hasn’t experienced the joys of vision going downhill with age like many of us old farts have.
Use the app that works for you. That’s why many of us are here, because Reddit took away that option to push their shit tier official app that’s far inferior to literally every third party app I ever tried.
I don’t understand the “slowly” part at all. I joined Lemmy about a month ago when Reddit third party apps went dark. Lemmy was largely a ghost town then, with most of the relatively mainstream communities I sought out having newest posts that were days or even weeks old. That desolation was gone after the first few days, with a ton more engagement from others who migrated over and a steady stream of new content. The communities I frequent have grown by leaps and bounds since then. “Slow” isn’t a word I’d use to describe Lemmy’s growth.
I was lamenting the lack of an NFL community here but no way in hell I’m joining a Dallas Cowboys community regardless of how much discussion it generates. 😆
Anyone who says Sea of Stars is in the same echelon as “classic” JRPGs clearly didn’t play all the way through SoS or has not played many classic JRPGs. SoS was an okay game for what it was but I honestly don’t remember much about it a couple of months after finishing it, whereas games like Lunar and Persona will always be cherished gaming memories for me.
