The thing is, if you smoke outdoors, you are violating people’s right to live in an clean environment and breathe fresh air. I don’t care if you fuck yourself up in your own house, but the moment smokers smoke outside of their own homes, they are messing with the liberties of all other citizens.

To add to this, even during the campaign the leader of the VVD (neo-liberal party) didn’t exclude the possibility of working with Wilders like the former PM of the VVD always did. I think this helped Wilders a lot.

The leader of the labour/green did a very bad campaign. I voted for him out of conviction, but I can totally see undecided voters not being convinced by his campaign. The loss of the VVD can be explained partly by the punishment that ruling parties get in elections in these times. I’m just hoping the leader of the NSC doesn’t agree to be in a coalition with PVV. Best thing we can hope for now is a center-right coalition with the Labour/Greens, the VVD (neo-liberals) and NSC (center-right) :(

Sure there’s people that just buy what’s cheaper. But there’s also people who consciously make the choice of eating meat having the possibility of not doing so. It makes sense to target that part of the population.

Now, if subsidies to the meat and dairy industry was redericted to plant-based farming, then the only reason left to consume animals would be people’s choice of personal pleasure over ethical and environmental factors

Yes I’m aware there are pitbulls in shelters also, but imo they should be left there. Even adopting one of those increases their visibility for then other irresponsible people to get the desire to get one. Honestly, if pitbulls were really banned (including the breeding of them) we would get rid of the pitbull problem in one generation. In shelters they could get the attention and care they need from responsible professionals with the adequate training

Shelters are full of harmless dogs that need a home. It’s beyond me why don’t people feel the need to buy dogs that can potentially kill/seriously harm other dogs and even humans (including children)

Yes, that’s my point. It seems to me to be a case of people having fun at the expense of dogs instead of with them. I’ve never dressed a dog up, but I’m fairly certain my dog would not like it. But maybe some dogs get trained for this? Idk, that’s why I’m asking to those who actually partake in this.
