And a lot of people’s reactions to Trump/Elon getting power were also remarkably similar to a lot of people’s reactions to Hitler getting power back then, especially people who were already in positions of power

That’s the problem actually, they are NOT fools. They are VERY smart and VERY determined adversaries who are determined to destroy the US economy and everything everybody would want to stand for, in order to maximize their own short term gains. They are making highly calculated moves specifically for that goal of theirs.
They are straight up adversaries to American people, they need to be treated as adversaries, and you do NOT ever attempt to underestimate your adversaries.
Right, and your solution to this is to scream and yell and curse around to everyone exactly like that oversized orange colored baby who got elected?
You do understand this affects you in every way possible too even if you are not an American, especially with Russian forces literally right on the door front of the Western Europe, don’t you?
And on top of that, when a bully is punching you, you can’t do nothing and expect them to stop punching you more. That will NEVER work for a bully, instead you have to punch them back sufficiently hard in order to immediately stop them from punching you more or do something even worse, if you could stop them at all. So an immediate retaliatory response is in fact absolutely necessary, and a retaliatory tariff is pretty much the only practical option for an immediate response.
But then again, it’s entirely possible this is exactly what Trump plotted. Damn he really is an adversary to American people and everybody except himself and maybe Putin, so you really have to analyze him accordingly, what a fucked up world we are in now :(

Everything you described takes half a decade minimal to be put into reality. You are literally describing building a whole fricking industry. And we all know how fast you can establish industries in North America.
When a literal bully is stabbing you, you do NOT wait for half a decade to do something about that.
Instead, retaliatory tariffs are pretty much the only thing they can do instantly as a government.
Ooooo that’s such a good idea!!!
LMAO I bet you can’t name one single feature/product Google released where “transparency” of how it works is a thing, it’s almost like anti-transparancy UX design is something they love on a philosophical level, even for features or products that have absolutely nothing to do with advertising lol
Yeahhhh that’s like one of the biggest downsides of these phones, seriously if Sony price each of them $200 lower they’d be selling like hot cake since they are really all some of the last non-compromising phones if you’re also into rooting and OS mods and such.
Alternatively consider to get one of the newer ones and use it as your daily driver for better value, they are all extremely well build and you can easily use them for 4-5 years :p
Especially the gen V model also recently got their first Release of LineageOS for this model! :D
Sony Xperia 1 series is amazing, fully open bootloader, takes less than a minute to root, no artificial restriction from rooting with AOSP-like ROM, and still have both SD card and headphone jack but still flagship specs of the respective release year of each recent model lol
As someone who also speaks Chinese natively and have additionally seriously studied classical Chinese and used to read historical documents and books, no not at all.
I always have Chinese text in the same font size as English, never found myself in need of adjusting the font size at all.
However, I am studying German and I do sometimes finding myself wanting to enlarge the font a bit, even though it’s the mostly the same Latin script as English.
I think ultimately it depends on how familiar you are with the script, once you are sufficiently familiar you only ever need to be parsing a part of the script when you’re reading it, at least most of the time and in daily uses, so glyph stroke density is not in itself an issue.
By the way if you find Chinese script looks cramped, look up the historical Tangut script! XD
I am not surprised but please elaborate.
This also explains why he changed the name to a non-descriptive name of X.
Propaganda/information warfare 101, you want the name of your agent spreading disinformation to be as vague and as ambiguous as possible in the people’s discourse in general.
And who TF elected such Nazi into the position of power? You 100% had it all coming lol
I love Aves’ functionalities and speed, but I can’t stand its UI design. Who TF thought it would look good to have a bright and glowing ring around photo folder thumbnails in an otherwise minimalistic UI?
Hey at least leeches can be pretty cool and fun pets to keep! :p
And nothing of value will be lost lol
Finally!
My biggest problem with bi-foldable phones so far is that they don’t actually offer enough of a screen size to really be the tablet replacement that is worth for all the downsides (like fragile screen, added weight and complexity and everything). But on the other hand it’s also just not possible to make a 10+ inches screen pocketable by folding it only once, whole still retaining an acceptable aspect ratio for both folded and unfolded forms.
Trifold is the first step towards finally having a meaningful foldable phone.
He IS the gestapo!
What did you think they meant by “Department of Government Efficiency”?
