It’s a good initiative, but is it really worth at this time?

I am not entirely sure to be honest. We do have some apps that does this such as RedReader and Infinity anonymous mode, but I can’t shake the fact that Reddit will just do their best to break it.

Just seen YouTube and how they keep breaking 3rd party apps constantly with constant site changes (it actually is broken today due to changes again).

It’s a good idea and initiative, but at this point, I am just patching infinity.

I don’t usually use social media apps at all. But lemmy to me reminds of old school forums. A few people interested in a subject keep that section of the forum alive.

Have you tried cleaning the memory card and port with isopropyl alcohol?

I’m a fan of RPG games so I tend to emulate these games on my phone

• Pokémon games from all Gameboys

• Zelda games from Gameboy and SNES

• Pretty much all final fantasy games

• Suikoden 1 to 5

• Mario RPG games

• Shadow hearts games from the ps2

• Dragon quest games

• Personal games up until persona 4

• Other games suck as Chroni Cross and Trigger, Hrxyz Force, Mother, Lufias, Tales games

All these games can be played with the touchscreen really.

Not a fan of apple podcasts but I do respect in them maintaining that app for that long time.

Pretty much my use with Alexa. Mainly timers and alarms and background music in the kitchen.

To be honest, most assistants are still annoying.

I absolutely am not an iPhone or iMessage fan, but criticizing a company for blocking someone who reverse engineered they platform to gain access isn’t right in my opinion.

If a 3rd party app is allowed to utilise Apple’s iMessage protocol/network, then every other messaging provider (WhatsApp, Telegram, etc) will be required to open up their platforms.

I cant wait to see the day where WhatsApp allows 3rd party apps to use their messaging network.

And we all know they will end up with a shit chip.

Yeah. Reminds of that day when a bunch of people broke into an apple shop to steal iPhones during a protest, just to have them all disabled next day.

I consider this a positive feature of having an android phone.
