I don’t pretend to be a journalist. I hear presenting facts is also important, and you have yet to do that despite your claims.

First, your juvenile ad hominems and wild speculation, not to mention your poor use of language incline me to believe you aren’t a journalist, or at least a journalist that I’m not inclined to think worth reading. But feel free to prove me wrong. Where would I find this article in which you drop pearls of wisdom for the unwashed masses such as myself? Did you get pictures of these earrings that she was handing out? Did she refuse to even let you get pictures, and convince the other recipients of her goods to also shield them from your unworthy focus? And please, don’t tell me you don’t want to advertise your professional work, or that of your peers. You already mentioned it.
Also, I haven’t watched Naruto, but you apparently haven’t seen The Princess Bride.
speculation
You keep using that word. I don’t think it means what you think it means.
I’m not speculating at all. I’m pointing our how much of a reach your speculation is. We can’t even be sure they’re there for Trump’s talk. That looks like a convention center, they could be there for something else. I tried to find the location this was taken, but I’m not finding it.
Go with the legitimate criticisms. There are many, even in the clothing choices.
So not Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, or even Trinidad and Tobago, it must be a flag from nearly a century ago, if you squint real hard, and ignore the extra stripes and the fact they’re vertical instead of horizontal. It certainly can’t be because of the esthetics of broad vertical stripes and that black and white go with anything, meaning you only have to coordinate with one color. Nah, that’s unreasonable.
I believe the options were the manssiere or the bro.
Heating/cooling works better with a heat sink, such as concrete. Water is also heavy, so laying it on top of the floor is far easier than suspending it from the ceiling. Also, in many places you will want to both heat and cool, and running heating and cooling in different locations costs up to twice as much. The easiest solution is to move the air, so fans do just fine.
He may have honored his parents. He looks like mommy and acts like daddy.
At that point you’re kind of arguing that there was only one World War with a 20-year armistice. I can see what they mean, and certainly tensions are escalating, but we’ve still made a concerted effort to not drag more people in while limiting the expansion of Russia’s territory.
In 5 or 10 years we will be talking about how we avoided the Russia-Ukraine conflict expanding into another world war or we will be talking about how these were the first stages of that conflict.
I’ll remember this whenever someone says you’ll run out of things to do when you retire.
I’ve noticed a lot fewer bullets, armies, missiles, and artillery in Cuba compared to Ukraine. I’ll grant America is bullying Cuba, but not just like Russia is Ukraine.
So…there’s not a lot of sympathy for the US against Cuba internationally? And it’s politically better for the US to maintain the status quo until Cuba comes to negotiate? And no, pushing for a UN resolution isn’t negotiating. This is a staring contest, and neither side wants to be the one to lose.
I don’t see that working out at all well for the US. I don’t think there’s a lot of sympathy for the US against Cuba internationally, and even if invading Cuba would get lots of support internally, it would kind of be like a dog catching a car. Now that you have it, what are you going to do with it.
Politically, the best thing America can do is leave them alone (at least as much as they do right now) until Cuba decides to change their stance, while restricting their access to weapons that could be a threat to America.
Kids these days! Back in my day we stacked the corpses high enough to have gravity squeeze the juices out!
Doesn’t make jaywalking on a racetrack a brilliant idea.
Assuming all of this is true, and I’m not saying it isn’t, how does that in any way refute what I said? Sure, call it victim blaming if you want. I’m very careful when I have to go into bad parts of town at bad times, and avoid them altogether when I can because, even if I’m not doing anything wrong, that’s cold comfort when I’m lying in a hospital or a morgue. So far it’s worked pretty well for me. I suppose that makes me a perpetual victim. Sure, it shouldn’t have to be that way, but I don’t think my being mugged or murdered is going to tip the scales and I don’t have any great desire to be a poster child.
If I support and aid someone who I know is committing atrocities, I hold some amount of responsibility. Netanyahu has put himself in that position with respect to Hamas.
But I’m not just talking to you, I’m also talking to the other people viewing this thread. Just like how it’s laughable to say you can’t be bothered to prove your dubious claims after engaging in communication about a subject half a dozen times over 2 days. The liklier conclusion is that they are as reasonable as your first - possibly true, but no substantive proof given.
