I think it definitely comes down to intent.

Yeah, those numbers are very questionable.

But it’s a good cause, and every bit helps, with possibly a significant difference in the local areas targeted.

As much as I despise Facebook, if you’re interested in solar, electricity and generally improving the performance of your home, you should check out the ‘My Efficient Electric Home’ (MEEH) group.

I’m not a fan of Labor, I vote Green, but there are still considerable differences between the LNP and Labor. Those differences might have narrowed in recent times, but they still matter.

Or will result in poor health outcomes for those who can’t afford to keep their houses at a healthy temperature, come winter or summer.

I love Kim Stanley Robinson in general and really enjoyed one of his earlier works, ‘Pacific Edge’.

Whilst it’s the third in his ‘Three California’s Trilogy’, each book is stand-alone and set in a different ‘future’ so have no direct baring on one another. I didn’t enjoy the other two books quite as much, but they were good in their own ways.

I recently listened to the audiobooks of this and its sequel, ‘A Prayer for the Crown Shy’ for free on Libby.

It made a very nice change from my usual dark dystopian sci fi reads…
