In other words, they have a systemic issue is where the threat of prosecution isn’t enough to deter employees from supplementing income with theft.
I wonder what kind of conditions led to that.
I think that’s part of the problem with conservatives. They’re already living in abject fear of everything.
They’ve been groomed into believing a civil war is imminent and their neighbors are the enemy, to the point where they’ve started making moves toward actual civil war with their neighbors.
They’ve been all been told: “There is the enemy, these are their flags, here is a gun, we can keep you out of jail.”
Thanks for the heads up. Pretty fucked we have to live in a world where we can’t be completely open with our health care professionals.
That’s me, sorta. For the first time since I turned 21 (so almost 15 years), I can have just one drink and not want another. I didn’t even really try to cut back, it just happened naturally after I took up cannabis.
Looking back, it’s kind of incredible how much alcohol was bringing me down.
I’ve lost 50 lbs in the past year. It is almost entirely due to the fact that I replaced alcohol with weed after it became legal here. I sleep better, eat better, I’m less anxious, and I actually look forward to working out now.
It’s very hard to see any downsides.
So your solution is to vote in protest for a party you know won’t win.
I’m actually curious now, what possible good do you think that’s doing?
More like “you think you’re helping but you are not”
In a two party system, voting third party will only ever result in your vote being thrown out. It is taking a stand against reality for the sake of your own personal idealism.
A lot of left-aligned voters learned that lesson the hard way in 2016. If you didn’t learn the lesson, you either weren’t paying attention or your idealism is more important to you than the actual outcome of the vote.
Doing that willingly, despite (or maybe because) the rest of your side screaming at you not to fuck this up again, is absolutely a level of betrayal.
You mean a benefit besides being a nuke depot in the middle east?
I disagree with the idea that cops should be considered good or bad. They are state force applied. A cop can be a good person, but I think the whole point of the uniform is to remove the person from the position
That’ll be Slave War II
The divinity games definitely felt inspired by DND. I’ve even been able to convince friends (including some who don’t play video games at all) to pick it up because of how similar it feels to tabletop. Larian was a natural choice for BG3 and I’m convinced that was part of the vision with their early work
Far-left authoritarians. In this case, CCP supporters/apologists

“Hey bro, chill. We gotta make it look like we’re at least trying to pretend it’s legit.”
It’s always seemed so wholesome to me how the trans folks are such a huge part of what makes that sub awesome but also it’s not a “trans sub”, so you get all these people there for the memes also experiencing fully normalized transness
I couldn’t justify the cost of Spotify when I’m still paying for YouTube premium (and have no plans to quit) and at the end of the day it still isn’t GPM
Same! I still keep the icon on my phone to remind me of what we lost.
Rooting has always been beyond most users, even if it’s technically trivial. It’s definitely solvable, unfortunately most solutions in this direction tend to draw attention of corporate legal teams.
