You’d be safer IRL printing it on a printer without yellow ink, then scanning it, then deleting the metadata from the scan.
Even a small percentage is good. The situation is desperate.
The fewer first time home owners that get out bid by corps the better. Doesn’t matter if it is a drop in the bucket.
And that’s even before considering how it would help stop housing from being an investment vehicle.
Life on earth sruvived the permian-triassic extinction.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permian–Triassic_extinction_event
Basically every volcano on earth lit up and choked the entire planet with toxic air, acid rain, continental fires, etc. Life survived that, it’ll survive humanity’s death throes.
Space is big, any civilization analyzing the composition of exo planet atmosphereres wouldn’t know for quite a while. It’s for more likely that they wouldn’t discover it until after several decades of passed, at which point it will have been too late.
That, and there’s the fact that first contact almost universally goes bad for the group with less technology, which is us in this case.
So you may as well just start playing the lottery.
“I didn’t read the article, so I’m gonna make shit up”
You could try reading the article:
Barrett, a social media strategist who lives in Chicago, said her life was chronicled so much online that a man once sent her a private message on Facebook when she was 12. The message said he’d followed her home as she rode her bike and knew where she lived. The incident increased her anxiety and made her feel like strangers were watching her every move, she said.
McCarty said family vloggers should be regulated like the film industry, citing as an example a California law that mandates 15% of all child performers’ earnings be set aside in an interest-earning trust.
This is way too little in my opinion. It shouldn’t be allowed in the first place. Any amount of earnings that relies on your children necessarily creates a conflict of interest and safety hazard. If you monetize your platform, no part of it should include minors, especially minors for which you are a guardian.
(Please please please don’t make this be my most up voted post)
I can downvote to prevent that if you like

Japan knew for a long time that they were going to lose and have not decided to surrender.
Tough shit. That doesn’t justify the killing of civilians.
Those 2 bombs definitely helped them with the decision.
This is a bad take given the evidence.
Howcome our entire justice system is right-wing and protects these fucking fascist?
It’s because the legislature is bought out by capitalists, right wing fascists have loaded up the courts with right wing judges, and the entire nation is built on a failed electoral system (part of which being a remnant of a comprimise with slavers).
If the bomb had not been used, more people would have died.
At best, there is no way to be sure of that, and at worst, it is outright false:
"Indeed, as early as 1946 the U.S. Strategic Bombing Survey, in its report Japan’s Struggle to End the War, concluded that “certainly prior to 31 December 1945, and in all probability prior to 1 November 1945, Japan would have surrendered even if the atomic bombs had not been dropped, even if Russia had not entered…”

Regardless, killing people indiscriminately is and always will be wrong.
If somebody gets access to your system, they could use that to blackmail you, and/or frame you for distributing said media.
“Give us $X, or we leak and distribute Y media on your behalf, and you will get sued by the corporate goons for shit loads of money”
The only real solution is to completely overhaul IP law, and/or nationalizing funding for the arts. If we’re gonna keep corps that own/produce media, then they should have a very short and limited amount of time to distribute it before it becomes common property of the people.
However, cost is currently a prohibitive issue to widespread use, the researchers said. While petroleum is readily available to siphon from the ground, widespread infrastructure for algae farming will be needed for plastics made of the bio-based polymer to become used en masse, Burkart said.
However, the process the researchers devised can also be applied to other plant-based material, Burkart said.
The researchers hope their new process can eventually be implemented widely for food packaging, Pomeroy said.
“But if you’re going to ask me, ‘Could we do this with anything?’ I’m pretty sure we could do this with most anything,” he said.
Sounds like an economy of scales problem, and the scale isn’t there. Fixable, but not great.
Agreed. For what little it’s worth, I’m doing my part.
It’s worse than that. Even if by some miracle we make it out of a second round of Trump, the DNC isn’t going to learn their lesson. They didn’t learn it in the past when they lost, they aren’t going to learn it now. They’ll keep on doing the same thing they always do, maintain the status quo at the worst, and make limp progress at best.
The problem here is systemic to our election system. It’s not going to be solved by pissing away votes through 3rd party and protest votes. The DNC won’t give a single shit. The only way this gets solved is if we dismantle FPTP voting in this country, and push hard for election finance reform, and a ban on lobbying.
So in the end, it seems like a bunch of people are going to end up letting Trump slip into office, and it will be a disaster. Accelerationism only hurts people. It isn’t going to result in a utopia.
