I do feel for the guy, but I also feel bad for the restaurant. It’s not an easy position to be in. It seems like a pretty rare condition and it’s not like he will be carrying any sort of proof as to what the condition is let alone anyone on staff at the restaurant that could diagnose him or even say if the condition matches what he claims it to be.
If someone walked in with small pox I would hope the restaurant would eject them, but it’s not like they would be able to say if it is or isn’t small pox. It’s a no win situation for both parties involved.
Perhaps due to the reasons that executed prisoners need to be injected with a suspicious cocktail of drugs. No company wants to be connected to the death of a person. Perhaps they are worried they won’t be able to supply parts and components once the news gets out about what their product does.
There is absolutely no amount of hard work that deserves that much money, absolutely none. You could run a marathon every single day for 50 years and I still wouldn’t say you deserved that much money.

It can be profitable if products which contain plastic are sold with an upfront fee which pays for the recycling but companies fight against that because it hurts their bottom line.
It’s been tanking for a lot longer than that
Think I would rather eat 20lbs of piranhas than 5lbs of rotting leg bone
Can’t remember if I did or not but want to say I did. Is there a way to check?
Yes, but if they somehow don’t I wouldn’t be opposed to finishing the job later if it’s determined they weren’t mentally compromised at the time.
It’s pretty stupid to introduce ads on the pause screen. Usually I would pause something because I am either:
A) Being interrupted and need to focus on something else like a phone call or a family member talking to me, and wouldn’t be paying attention to the screen anyways.
B) Need to leave to go somewhere else like the fridge for a snack and wouldn’t be paying attention to the screen anyways.
Or
C) Just want to take a break and want to do something else which involves opening another window or program and wouldn’t be paying attention to the window with YouTube open.
In every scenario where I pause YouTube and add playing would not provide any value to the entity paying YouTube to play the ad.
And in every scenario, if an ad began playing when I pause youtube it would cause me to mute my sound and/or turn off my monitor and just cause me to get super annoyed at YouTube or at whatever product is being advertised and how to never buy it ever.
Lol, YouTube
People will believe a bullshit rumour easily if it conforms to one of their preexisting biases.
Anyone who believes that Haitian immigrants are eating the neighbourhood cats is 90% likely to be straight up racist even if they don’t think they are, or 10% likely that they are just dumb as bricks with no critical thought capabilities.
I work in mosquito control, it’s been generally fairly well known as far as I know. Light traps use black light bulbs as one of the methods to attract mosquitos because the lack of visible light cuts down on the number of bycatch like moths but the bulb still generates heat to attract the mosquitos, usually paired with dry ice for CO2.
Avocado toast costs less than a bowl of cheerios where I live 😭
Regular mowers have a person which animal can recognize as a threat and run away. They may not bother running from an automated mower I imagine.
Might sound stupid, but perhaps then they shouldn’t be offering services like Disney Plus and instead simply offer a car that lets you download any streaming app you have your own subscription for.
Why does anyone live there? Is it cheap?
Products that change the service they offer after you purchase it should also be eligible for a full refund (plus a % on top for the hassle). Such as offering a service through the product for free at the time of purchase but then moving it being a monthly subscription paywall later on, or just removing the feature completely.
They should have little nozzles to disperse a cloud of pepper spray around the vehicle in emergencies.
