It’s a culture of repressed violence. Once you see it, it’s bursting out of every seam that holds this country together.

Aren’t we kind of already in that??
Well good thing we have massive, well funded media campaigns!!
It’s like they’re trying to make it the next step from neoliberalism but people are starting to even see the flaws in neo liberalism.
TBH, it feels like social media always needed some back door business like this to make it profitable.
America is closer to fascism than China is. All fascism’s are authorization but not all authoritarian regimes are fascist.
Ironic because Trump is a direct result of his life’s work. I hope he dies feeling like he wasted his life because of it.
It’s crazy that we know all the carbon in coal and and oil and ect comes from a period of history where there was more carbon in earths cycles, and it’s widely believed to be a period of time where the whole earth had a tropical environment.
And everyone was just like “Putting this all back in the atmosphere is probably fine.”
“But we do have a real opportunity to win something historic. We could deny Kamala Harris the state of Michigan. And the polls show that most likely Harris cannot win the election without Michigan.”
I’ll recently read an article about Jill Stein saying this EXACT same quote. It’s really triggering my bullshit radar. I’ll have to find the article, give me a sec.
EDIT: NVM, This quote is about Jill Stein. The article I read previously referred to this same quote, but wrongly attributed to Jill Stein.
Deep Chief Justice Clarence Thomas cut.
That’s part of the issue. I don’t think many people thought the hurricane was going to cause the damage it did until it actually happened.
Charges are insane. Like too crazy for the feds to take to court if they’re just trying to defame him. Accepting luxury travel and bribes from Turkey? Like what? The mayor of New York?
That’s too ridiculous to be a lie.
This is some Olympics level mental gymnastics.
Not sure about other countries, but America’s submarine force is volunteer. You wouldn’t be forced onto a submarine.
I was on a sub and I chose it because being instantaneously crunched sounded better than starving in a life boat.
Russia is the only navy that has submarines that even compete with America’s so not sure what you’re talking about there. Russian submarine hulls are made out of titanium and can dive ~1000 feet deeper than the US’s. In a lot of cases, they have much better submarines than we do.
Part of the reason the cold war was so scary was because of the supremecy of their submarines. Didn’t you ever see The Hunt for Red October???
Also, America has lost 2 nuclear submarines to accidents, the thresher and the scorpion. The thresher was during trials after repair, and (along with the loss of the challenger space shuttle) gave rise to modern day Quality Assurance practices in engineering disciplines.
The food waste the US creates could feed our food insecure people 7 meals a day.
Is that how he approaches women? “Ay girl you look like I could put a baby in you.”
So literally a two tier court system. Great. Rules for thee and not for me personified.
Enron? Maybe the SBF thing? Seems like financial scandals are the only thing that matters.
This is your friendly reminder that there are more reasons than, “I didn’t feel like it,” for not voting.
We have GOT to stop acting like the non voting population in America country is a monolith, and admit that the problem might be more complex than “lazy, ignorant people.”
