This is your friendly reminder that there are more reasons than, “I didn’t feel like it,” for not voting.

We have GOT to stop acting like the non voting population in America country is a monolith, and admit that the problem might be more complex than “lazy, ignorant people.”

It’s a culture of repressed violence. Once you see it, it’s bursting out of every seam that holds this country together.

Aren’t we kind of already in that??

It’s like they’re trying to make it the next step from neoliberalism but people are starting to even see the flaws in neo liberalism.

TBH, it feels like social media always needed some back door business like this to make it profitable.

America is closer to fascism than China is. All fascism’s are authorization but not all authoritarian regimes are fascist.

Russia is the only navy that has submarines that even compete with America’s so not sure what you’re talking about there. Russian submarine hulls are made out of titanium and can dive ~1000 feet deeper than the US’s. In a lot of cases, they have much better submarines than we do.

Part of the reason the cold war was so scary was because of the supremecy of their submarines. Didn’t you ever see The Hunt for Red October???

Also, America has lost 2 nuclear submarines to accidents, the thresher and the scorpion. The thresher was during trials after repair, and (along with the loss of the challenger space shuttle) gave rise to modern day Quality Assurance practices in engineering disciplines.

The food waste the US creates could feed our food insecure people 7 meals a day.
