No but Nintendo is fiercely protective of all of its IP. We know there’s not really harm being done here but it is within their rights to block this and that is the road they always choose.

Cool so in this thread about this specific incident you want to have a general discussion about war coverage in the West but without listing a single thing
Alright let’s hear your defense of this
No because the event we are talking about here is a woman’s body being dragged around. We’re not talking about the entirety of the conflict right now.
Dancing at a music festival
War crimes this bad are not the problem with media coverage.
You could be right and seem to be implying the new territories are the main reason but do you have a source for those metrics? You’ve been calling into question how Netflix is counting this so which counts are you using?
Also they leave out that almost 6 million additional signups were added by this change. I’m ready to go back to the high seas myself even though I’m the one who pays for the account haha
This article is cherry picked. They added millions more of subscribers because of this change.
I was going to post the same, thank you. I hate it but this has caused dramatically more signups
If you live in America today, the one historical fact you are most likely to have heard is that former President Donald Trump is the first president to be impeached twice.
What is this writing? The one historical fact haha
Digg refugee from back then. The amount of people coming over wasn’t as significant as we see today. But yes there were lots of posts about how to use Reddit, tools to make Reddit look prettier or more like Digg. Diggers found the subreddit subscription confusing. Literally all the posts we see today from Redditors coming to Lemmy.
I haven’t seen a single call to action to donate to Lemmy other than the static sidebar on desktop. Something like that would be far more helpful than complaining about previous Sync users continuing to donate to Sync. Nothing is being taken from Lemmy, Sync already had a big user base and is bringing many of them over here thanks to the app. Let’s call to action to them to donate to instances instead of complaining.
This meme implies that Sync is taking all the donations though. The people donating to Sync didn’t stop donating to Lemmy to do so
I’m likely done with Reddit but /r/Place was a really fun thing to do the years it showed up. OP seems to be discussing it only in relation to Lemmy. I think we should welcome that. It’s a fun idea and would also drive activity to us.
Yeah as a boy I didn’t like these either. They were sexy but made me feel a little weird. I was young enough not to realize it was targeting only boys, but now that I’m older I think that’s why I didn’t like them. I wasn’t in to sex at the time.
