  • That’s why death penalty shouldn’t exist for crimes like a wife killing a husband. You might be 99.9% sure she poisoned him, but you cannot know for sure.

However, a school shooter caught red handed shooting a school?

Some crimes and scenarios can warrant the death penalty in my mind

Next argument is “what if the government framed people to execute them?”

Why in the world would the government point out that they are executing someone?

If the government (the rich controlled government) wants you dead they would do it quietly.

Even something as simple as cutting your brake lines. You really think local police are going to figure out that the government had soldier 65478 tamper with your brake lines?

your freezer at -18 °C (0 °F) or lower. This will keep your food out of the temperature danger zone between 4 °C (40 °F) to 60 °C (140 °F) where bacteria can grow quickly.

    According to Canada.ca

Every 2 F is basically 1 C. You have more whole numbers with F.

    Like -15°C is 5°F

    6°F is -14.4444°C

    -14°C is 6.8°F

    So 5, 6, and 7°F are about equal to -15, -14.5, and -14°C.

And it’s not just a random number. You know how much more energy would be used if everyone kept their freezer just a couple degrees colder? It’s the optimum recommended temperature.

Not sure where you got -4F from.

USDA, United States Department of Agriculture, recommends 0°F or -17.8°C

100°F in the shade isn’t extreme, and you’d be able to survive normally (With more water, everyone can use more water)

    100°F is hot tub water

120°F is recommended hot tap water

140°F water will pretty much burn you instantly

0F is the temperature a freezer needs to be to keep food fresh.

50F is the point that you can’t survive without clothes, your body will not generate enough heat.

100F (38C) will not burn you alive. You can survive for a long time in a sauna at 200F.

100F is perfect hot tub temperature

0-150 is the better range, and 75 is right in the middle. 100 is just a hot air temperature most people don’t want to be in but it’s not an extreme.

Saunas can get up to 200 degrees

Hot tubs are usually at 100

Freezers need to be at least 0

You say 15°C. 6° cooler than room temperature. But how much is 6°?

    It’s 60°F.

50°F or 10°C is where you need clothes to survive

    300, 325, 350 is where you bake cookies (149-176°C)

Fahrenheit has a bunch of 5 and 10s

Saying something like high 70s or low 70s for temp represents an easy way to tell temperature.

    21° to 26° for celcius

I walk outside and say “It feels like high 70s today” someone using celcius would say, “Feels like 25°”. If it was a little warmer than “low 80s” compared to “Ehh about 26 or 27°C”

  • Did apple make their own screens during that time?

Heard apple doesn’t make them and just read that Samsung is going to supply 2/3 of the OLED screens for the iPhone 14.

Maybe apple wanted to make their phones bigger, but they had limitations.

If you have contracts and stuff getting 3rd party screens, you can’t just switch so quickly.

Apple is better to play it off that they don’t want to rather than can’t. You don’t want to be a company that can’t.

  • Eh, I think the problem is the customers just take what apple gives them

My girlfriend loves her iPhone 13 mini. Yet when she needs a new phone, she will get the iPhone large whatever.

They know this and don’t care to please the small portion of their fan base that want a smaller phone.

Having a mini line is just an extra cost to them and apple cuts all the costs they can to maximize profit. Not to please their consumers.

  • You missed the point of what I was saying

2 tb flash drives are expensive but exist

Pigeon could carry 4 tb in 2 flash drives worth of weight.

But simply 3 1 tb drives a pigeon can carry so they did that.

If they had to transfer 5 tb of data to win. 3 2 tb drives would have worked.

This article just states that a pigeon can carry 3 1 tb drives and deliver it faster than gigabit internet.

They didn’t need to push the envelope anymore

So yes they calculated that the pigeon could carry 3 drives and that 3 tb was all that was needed to carry to win.

But they didn’t set up the experiment to favor the pigeon. They set it up to prove it could be done that way.

  • Yes and no.

If you could put a 1 petabyte flash drive on a pigeon, it would easily crush the gigabit internet

Does a 1 petabyte flash drive exist? Could it exist?

They put 3 stripped-down terabyte flash drives on the pigeon. Could it carry more weight?

You get to the point where the pigeon can’t carry the weight.

All this is saying that sending data by pigeon can be faster and using 3 tb sticks proves it.

If it needed to be 4 tb, then they would have had to use 4 sticks. If it couldn’t carry 4 sticks, then you have your answer that the pigeon can’t do it with current technology.

  • Anonymous…

    Distributed ledger…

    It’s not really anonymous.

John Smith or 253832893 means exactly the same thing without more context. The only way you can tell you have the right John Smith is because we have 253-83-2893 as a social security number (lol social security system).

But if I see 253832893 on the Crypto ledger, I know 253832893 made a transaction. It could say John Smith and I’d be basically in the same spot of figuring out who it was.

Now, if 253832893 wallet paid a home mortgage for John Smith with Crypto, then I’d be closer to figure out who owns 253832893 wallet.

The whole point to Crypto is the block chain and the fact that they are very traceable.

Crypto can be anonymous if you’re smart and you don’t link yourself to your wallet. But once you are linked to a wallet, it is far from anonymous.

If John Smith wanted to sell me cocaine. Handing him cash is basically untraceable and anonymous. Sending him Crypto ties my wallet to his wallet with a transaction. If the cops seized his wallet and somehow figured out my wallet, they could tell every single time I purchased cocaine from him.

Yes, you can do your best to keep your name unlinked to your wallet number. But it’s not foolproof. For example, if I was buying cocaine I wouldn’t use my main Crypto wallet but a side wallet. If you only used it to pay for cocaine and filled the side wallet in an untraceable way. It’s pretty anonymous.

But to those people that fill their Crypto wallets with their bank account and just think they are anonymous, they have another thing coming if someone wants to trace them.

  • Gold Standard

Linking money to a material with intrinsic value for it’s value

    Gold has intrinsic value

US Dollar moved to be a Fiat Currency

US Dollar is backed by a Government

Crypto has zero intrinsic value, not linked to anything with intrinsic value, and not backed by a Government

Crypto is an imaginary “item” some people want to have valve. Value is created because of this want.

US Dollar is legal tinder for all US debts, Crypto is not

Crypto is not a currency but a digital commodity
