Actual CSAM on pawoo wasn’t even a problem. It was just spam from feds or scammers.

you can search specific channels on discord. if you’re seeing memes and r34 while searching for something in a hub server for a game or something then you’re not searching correctly. or the thing you’re trying to find info on is so niche and poorly organized they have 1 channel.

Getting charged for possession of CP isn’t like this Voldemort thing that you can’t even be within the vicinity of. With illegal internet material it’s already pretty “safe” in terms of prosecution. If you could be found guilty of content you didn’t even interact with they’d have to change some laws or have way more people in prison. You have to show intent in seeking it out and unless you’re a huge target (political or someone who produces/spreads the content) you’ll be fine.

If this is US only absolutely no way in hell it hits 100 million. A majority chunk of those users are old, dead, don’t engage in any media that would have told them about the class action, or are just too incompetent to fill out the simple form. I’d be surprised if it’s much more than 10-30 million.

I feel like a game being made available on an additional platform is like the opposite of monopoly. If steam paid Blizzard for exclusive storefront rights and you could only get the games on PC from Steam id be inclined to agree.
