“printing” money happens very very often. The US constantly prints money AND increases it’s debt yet the dollar stays strong. You have to remember value of a currency is imaginary, it’s just a contract where we agree X is X and Y is Y.

While yes you can devalue a currency by printing money, you can also increase its value by strengthening the system it’s printed into. If we print money to build and improve, the UK becomes more desirable and therefore it’s currency more valuable despite it’s increased monetary supply.

It’s alot more complicated than Print more worth less. Hell I expected high inflation after COVID due to increased printing, and while inflation did happen, it was not for that reason, it was pure greed.

The difference is people in the UK don’t need guns, there’s no use for them except “in rural areas”. Well you’ve said it yourself, Microsoft are trying to remove that physical limitation to accessing a platform. But Microsoft knows what the market wants, people have been against exclusives for a long time and they want to remove that, I shouldn’t have to spend £300 to play a game when I have equipment already capable of playing a game Infront of me.

So being scared that Xbox is going to disappear is stupid, the consoles might, but Microsoft has been transforming Xbox into a platform for years, starting with the release of windows 7 when they introduced XboxLive for windows alongside halo 2. This has been a long term goal.

A OVH 4core 8gb VPS that handles emby (I keep trying to go back to jellyfin but it’s just slightly slower than emby at transcoding and I need to squeeze as much performance out of my VPS as possible so… Maybe one day jelly)

And I have a really good streaming experience with subtitles that don’t put big black boxes on the screen making 1/8th of the screen non viewable.
