My point is to address how disgusting and despicable the behavior of Palestinians are regarding the actions of Hamas, and how ridiculous it is that these behaviors aren’t getting called out.

Of course, war is hell and this will never end well for anybody. Check the statistics I linked though and you’ll find that 50% of Palestinians don’t want peace as long as israel exist. How would any sort of peace be established if half of the entire population is against it? The Jews and the Muslims have been in conflict with eachother over Jerusalem since the 1800’s. As Jewish people moved into the city at an increasing rate the Muslims and jews started murdering eachother. The atrocities have been aweful from both sides for soon 150 years, long before Israel even existed and sadly now after this terrorist attack, it will probably end up as “just Israel”… I hope any innocent civilian have the ability to get out of there before things really escalates.
However, to come back to my original point, you’ll never find compilations online of israelian soldiers doing the same things that the beloved Hamas did, and if they wouldve, you would never see Jewish people celebrate the rapes and murders of children and women.

They were all convicted, but made the big headlines with a huge backlash after Trump pardoned them, the absolute fucking bafoon… If clips surfaced of american soldiers comitting these actions, people would be outraged. Remember Guantanamo bay? There was a huge public backlash and push towards closing it from all sides, and there’s strong support for arguing “the war” was lost because the public turned against it.

The support for hamas is 57% in palestine, Islamic Jihad has 71% support, people with Palestinian background are celebrating the executions, the rapes, and the murder of children on the streets in the western world even.

In the comments people are discussing how big this demonstration was, and how several streets were completely shut off, aswell as some Danish commenters explaining how it was the same in Copenhagen.

Exactly this. People are oversimplify the whole story. In my opinion there’s 2 camps of people who currently supports Palestine.
They just don’t know the historical background and don’t know specifically -what- Hamas did the 7th, nor the huge support Hamas has in Palestine. (to clarify, A TERROR GROUP that has SUMMER CAMPS where they train kids to become terrorists).
They support them because they enjoy jews getting killed.

Imagine that 57% of Palestinians supports Hamas and 50% are against the idea of peace, 71% supports PIJ (Islamic Jihad), all while Biden won his election with 51%, Obama won with 53%, George Bush won in 1989 by 53%, last time any president got more votes than the support Hamas has in Palestine was in 1984, 39 years ago! That’s how enormous the support of Hamas is, and some of ya’ll are defending them. You need to watch the videos released of the atrocities Hamas committed, see the actions that you’re defending, but I bet you don’t even have the stomachs for it.
Agreed, anybody has the right to be angry, mad, feel disrespected, and protest his actions. What they did instead by rioting and attacking people was to prove the point he was trying to make.
It’s quite simple in my opinion: Be better, PROVE you’re the religion of peace by separating yourself from the radicalism preached by the rich Arab countries and power hungry imams enriching themselves. While you’re right in one way, it’s not entirely correct and an oversimplification. Sweden, for instance, pays roughly 1 billion sek (100 million euro, or thereabouts) for assistance programs in Afghanistan, of this about 30 million euro is purely humanitarian aid. However, you can’t deny knowing about the widespread corruption within the Arabic countries, where these funds and aids creates a space of available funds that’s channeled into the pockets of the rulers. A famous example is Hamid Karzai and his brother Ahmed Wali Karzai. They sure LOVED the assistance from the western world.
To make things worse, the widespread corruption in certain areas puts the assistance programs in a position where they’re forced to pay bribes to be given access to the people they’re trying to help. This is very common according to transparency.org in their report “mapping the risks of corruption in humanitarian action.”

“The practice of paying bribes at roadblocks was seen by survey respondents as a high and unavoidable risk.”
Aswell as:
“Anderson (1999) summarises the way in which aid can become caught up in conflict: Aid agencies, operating in areas controlled by factions, must often make ‘legitimate’ payments to those in power in the form of taxes and fees for services (import-export licenses, hired guards for protection, loaned use of vehicles and the like). I believe any form of burning books regardless of source should be legal. The ramifications of doing it is to get laughed at and have people shaking their heads; the same reaction that was given when bibles and swedish flags were burnt.

Yeah, no, sorry. The Arabic world with the monstrous societal issues they’re suffering, has no right to dictate how our western world laws should look like. We have no obligation to bow to them, especially concidering there is nothing more anti Muslim than neighboring muslim countries. We had our borders open while the rich Arabic world shut theirs. This is just those rich countries grasping for more power. I’d like to add that both sides of the political spectrum caused their extreme growth. There was a huge storm of dissatisfaction regarding the immigration politics and at one point I recall our government sponsored news channel showing statistics of about 70% of Swedens citizens were asking for reducing it as it was unsustainable. During this time the centrist right leader held a speech about how “this current situation will cost us a LOT of money, but we need to open our hearts” while the left flat out ignored the problems and said we were a “Humanitarian great power” and stated we were getting highly educated doctors and professors.
The only party that spoke against it was the extreme right, and any mention of anti-immgration caused a massive shitstorm by any other political party that refused to touch the subject. Quite obviously when you polarize the country and refuse to listen to your voters, they’ll go to the party that DO.
I’m not defending or showing support for them, I’m just explaining how they’re this big because of the arrogance and ignorance of the other parties. THEY made them big and now they have to work with them.

During the early war while the soviets and hitler were allies, volunteers from the swedish military assisted the fins during the winter war while massive donations of military hardware was delivered. Totaling about 50 million bullets, 135.000 rifles, 800 machineguns, 144 field guns, 100 anti-aircraft guns, 92 anti-tank guns, wit in total 30.000 shells, 17 fighters, 6 bombers.
To top it all off, we were also a safeheaven for Danish and norwegian Jews that ran from the Germans. We hid and protected almost every jew in entire Denmark, and about half of all the Jews in Norway.

That’s the thing though, if Hamas have an approval rate above 50% isn’t it getting awfully close to a disorganized government and it’s people that’s engaging in a full scale war?
