Baddies opposing other buddies just because of geopolitics? Color me surprised

I’ve read the article, and I just want to ask whether there are any resources on how much aid goes to the either side of the conflict. Because I was surprised that many countries in the EU still contribute bilaterally.

Enemy of western colonialism AND defender of traditionalism

Russia targets both tankies (by that I mean apologists of authoritatian states that may or may not be socialist) and traditionalists in such an effective way. Luckilyost of us have common sense to not fall for this.

I think that applies to all communities.

They’ll likely not improve their lives economically, since “that’s their fault” but they’ll blame it at minorities in a beat.

This is one of the reason why I think this sentiment is America-imported. Nationalists will give you plenty of reasons why America imports “woke ideology” (whatever that means today) yet believe in an imported ideology themselves.

I am not an economist, but I have an idea that this is because the alternatives have done that too, and since this renders the point of moving invalid, they might as well also introduce the same stuff
