You’re not wrong, but it’s a process that can be improved. I will 100% say that we’ve had better results in person for newbies, BUT it is not a valid reason as an overall rule. In my mind, the benefits far outweigh the downsides. Fuck the office (not the show, it’s amazing)

Try out Fedilab if you’re on Android. I’m not by any means a big user of Mastadon, but it really improved my experience over the official app.

This is where my mind went. Wondered if the reduction in heat would allow further overclocking/defaults on both CPU and GPUs. I don’t know that much about the actual hardware and how it works though.
