Everything on the Internet is public domain.
If I disappear for 3 weeks, assume I’m dead.

Not saying it’s bad, I’m sure it holds up okay as it’s a good game, I just think you can’t enjoy the environment and atmosphere as much.
I feel like that’s a game that needs a big screen to be enjoyed, can’t imagine playing on a handheld.
It’s one of the few games where I went to collect all the collectibles, because I loved the exploration, environment, atmosphere and mostly the controls too.
It also looked incredible for the time - I first played it on PC when it came out, later on PS3 where it was only fine if quite downgraded. Yea the presentation and sense of wonder are very important for that feel.
Some of the action is way over the top, especially in later parts, and the amount of abuse Lara survives is just stupid. It’s one of those “ludonarrative dissonance” games for sure.
Sounds like another problem we have thanks to DRM and telemetry.
What I mean is that kids with different interests or strengths may choose to work differently or concentrate on different things. Just like adults. Inclusivity doesn’t mean that everyone has to do the exact same thing the exact same way.
That’s why different classes exist
There’s also yiffit (.net I think?) and some .uk instance, like lemmef.uk or something
No, way to tag nsfw that’s not porn.
Can we have the exact opposite?
I rarely give likes, which I guess is hypocritical as I like receiving them if I put effort into a post.
But honestly, comments are always better anyways, and that’s what I do more of as well. Likes are more of a poor substitute.
If you want to contribute to someone else’s code, you should familiarise yourself with their values or plans before writing code. Can’t expect them to accept any contribution without question.
Otherwise, fork the project and make your own version.
In lots of places other people do the compilation and thus guarantee the build, like in Linux distros or F-Droid.
Microsoft is using malware-like Windows 11
Removed fluff
I always get paranoid when I notice an app I use having unusual updates.
Example: The gallery app for Android I use, F-Stop, used to post infrequent updates with changelog only stating “stability updates” and such, or nothing. Then a few months ago they started posting quite major feature updates with detailed log. I freaked out if they weren’t bought up or something, so I stopped updating and just watched for a few months. So far so good.
But ya know, moral of the story - use open source whenever possible. FOSS community is very vigilant and vocal about such things. It’s not bulletproof, but there’s a much better peace of mind with foss apps, it’s quite crazy.
The proprietary app stores claim how their corporate bullshit is the only secure way to get reliable apps, while in reality it’s the exact opposite.
I still think the SW universe has some completely different physics than ours. Speed of light, time, stuff like that just don’t work the same way. I think it’s some sort of microscopic fluidic space equivalent to a much younger our universe. After all, it occurs “a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away”.
Now, Starfleet crews commonly deal with all kinds of alternate universes and they tend to survive (at least if they have a show about them), so I’d still give Starfleet an edge. People im the SW universe get screwed way more often - unknown regions, hyperspace, galactic barrier… Everything we’ve seen Trek crews survive.
Sisko be like: oh yea those genocidal shape shifting freaks that have contempt for everything that isn’t them and can ruin any government from within, have a billion-strong army of generically engineered suicidal supersoldiers armed to the teeth with resources of an entire quadrant. Aight brb, lemme grab our mortal enemies to work for us, and then I’ll talk to my multidimensional gods pals for assistance.
These have been a few but I can’t find them in my blocklist, so maybe they have died.
Consumerist lifestyle of (some) richer countries leads to both of these, tho I don’t see any direct relation. I guess obese people may be more likely to invest in a bigger TV, may turn up the AC more, and spend more time in hospitals hooked to machinery?
Generally speaking, electricity is mostly used up by factories and businesses.
I know that mostly because he was really loudly against “violent” and “mindless” video games. Ya know, the guy who starred in and directed dozens of violent and mindless movies.
Check out Like Stories of Old and Joseph Anderson, although the latter haven’t posted anything in a long time…
