IMO the worst part is the ads that auto-scroll you to the top of the page after you’ve spent two minutes reading
I’m very curious what the percentage of broken vs surviving phones is
The image overwrites the url on lemmy so here is a link oncomputer.games
Always happy to see the pom poko boys! Blog looks neat and I subscribed to the youtube channel.
I’m enjoying the game and having fun but I also have a long list of complaints. #1 for me right now is not having the right dialogue options. First bethesda rpg where a character can ask me if something is a good idea and there is no option to tell them no!
Thabks for sharing this! NES is my favorite console and these games look awesome. Not sure if I am more excited for the bird one or the wizard one.
Right? I remember reading the blog posts a decade ago. Looking forward to actually playing it.

Fascinating article, thank you for posting this. Very different from the style of monks I’m used to seeing - the idea of being a monk for anything less than the rest of your life is unusual to me. Seems like it could definitely have an impact on many 20 year olds.
I think its great they are promoting Lemmy but I think the notes are unneeded. Tell people Lemmy is great, give them a recommended instance to sign up on, and stop selling. They can learn about the rest after theyve gotten their lemmylegs underneath them.
Give them 5 extra paragraphs of caveats and people will think they are more confused than they are. I ended up on squabbles for two months after the reddit exodus because everytime Lemmy was brought up it was with a massive text wall or that one infocomic. Its free, theres no ads, and no one person owns it - thats really all you need to know to get started.
