I believe that’s because those two APIs support function calling, open source support is still coming along.
Nice. Software developer, gamer, occasionally 3d printing, coffee lover.

The book is a book of poetry called Xanax Cowboy.
Source: I found this which includes the original Twitter post. From there it was pretty straightforward, their website is here, the about page mentions their first book which is just their Twitter handle.
The complexities involved, even with solutions, are just too much for current humans. Genetically engineering ourselves could work, though I’m more in favor of just digitizing ourselves ha.
I’ve been using Porkbun for over 5 years and haven’t had any issues. I switched from a mix of Google Domains and Namecheap.
Generally the country based TLDs have that problem. That isn’t unique to porkbun or .de
BG3 for me. It’s been a while since a game has captured me so much.
To be fair, a lot of the game breaking launch bugs that hurt the game for me were with PVP (specifically, the instanced wars). I do know there were others but those PVP bugs are what I’ll always remember. The lag, the broken healing, the hatchet exploit, and a few others.
I’ll have to check, a cursory look at the documentation definitely makes them seem viable. Those definitely weren’t a thing last I checked lol. As for the use case, I have a profile for job 1, 2, personal, and personal 2 (2 being a separate Google account for it’s collaborative stuff).
For the most part it should do the trick. I dislike the branding for Mozilla VPN, but I see in the screenshots I can set custom proxy settings which will be nice.
As one of my profiles has a unique set of bookmarks and unique extensions, I’d probably be able to use the containers to substitute what I’m using 3 profiles for right now, and keep a separate profile for the job with unique extensions.
Thanks! Will definitely start migrating stuff over and seeing how it is. If I can still self host the sync backend I’ll do that as well.
Every day a new article comes out that slowly convinces me to switch. Chrome’s profile switcher was light years ahead of Firefox last I checked, but I’m going to have to check again and see if that’s still the case and if so, what I can do to cope.
I second this. They’re upfront about pricing and don’t have many different products so the interface isn’t overwhelming.
already use their imaginations to picture celebrities naked.
Speak for yourself. Some of us can’t do that.
Whether or not it’s trivial to detect depends on the method used to block it. It already is an arms race, and said race will continue.
Knowledge in the form of recipes primarily! Hello fellow Palian.
I checked the quick start, that aren’t deterring people from using Docker, they’re saying you shouldn’t use the Docker CLI to launch it, and instead use docker-compose. Which is fair, compose is a much better format for persistent containers and being able to use l easily manage and migrate them.
I would start by getting a Kill-A-Watt (or generic) so you can measure power draw (under artificial load). The price between a 600W UPS and a 1000W UPS can be dramatic. When I hear “small server” I think of an R210ii / similar platform that uses less wattage than a old fashioned light bulb.
Highly available. For example, being able to run multiple instances of it and if one server goes down the other picks up slack.
Schrodinger’s backups.
My personal rule is that I seek out a product/service, not the other way around. And ads really annoy me because they’re not useful, they’re just trying to sell me something, or get me to sell myself (looking at you, TikTok).
And yes I know we can see the source and that it doesn’t presently send keys anywhere but the OpenAI API.
Also why save the key to local storage? The code encrypts the key and saves it, alongside the encryption key, to local storage. Why even encrypt it if you’re placing the encryption key protecting it right next to it? It’s the virtual equivalent of storing the key to a safe by taping it to the safe.
I saw a few others, but the ones I looked at were basically instruct layers where you’d need to add your own parser. I didn’t find anything (in my 3 minutes of searching) that offers an openai chat completions endpoint, which is probably the main stopper.
