Electric cars existed and were quite common. I doubt a lead acid battery at the time had a ton of range in this size, though.

The article says it is a watermelon shaped like israel. I don’t know why is (or is percieved to be) a pro-palestinian message, and I don’t care enough about a t-shirt to look it up, but the show producers at least thought it was a political statement. I wonder if a shirt with simply a triangular slice of watermelon would be banned.

11·21 days agoAs far as I can tell they have great aim, they just don’t care who is in the building they precisely targeted.
TL;DW: because they all use the only mechanism that is still in production. It’s not a good as the top of the line from 2000, but it’s way cheaper than rolling your own from scratch.
