I’ll remain cautiously optimistic for as long as Trachtenberg is attached to this project. I think Prey was the best Predator film in a while, and it seems like he understands how important changing the setting is. I’m not necessarily sold on post-apocalypse future being the best setting for a Predator, but I’ll give Dan the benefit of the doubt.

Just watched Cobweb last night. Really love how Halloween is worked into the setting but doesn’t matter at all for the main plot. Works great as a “Just Before Halloween” movie.

Also watched Night of the Living Dead over the weekend. Really impressed how perfectly Romero nailed the quintessential zombie movie before there were zombie movies.
