It is not really FUD to point out that Mozilla wastes ungodly amounts of money on projects of dubious utility instead of investing it into their browser. Their current trajectory doesn’t inspire much confidence either. Mozilla started to waste even more money on ‘AI’ features nobody asked for.

Kagi was founded as an AI company so this is not surprising. I unsubscribed from them after learning that. Also, their CEO is a weirdo who harasses people critical of their product and he thinks the GDPR is optional.

For that reason I just ditched the youtube app and use the mobile site instead. On Firefox mobile uBlock works as well.

According to TF1 he was arrested due to lack of cooperation with law enforcement regarding suspected complicity in drug trafficking, CSAM, and fraud. So my interpretation is that they repeatedly ignored french law enforcement asking Telegram to take down certain channels. Maybe warrant was the wrong word I am not a native speaker.

I will never understand why people defend this idiot. Plenty of secure chat apps exists in the EU without problems. Matrix for example is used by both the German and the French government. Telegrams CEO is just reaping what he sowed by ignoring French warrants.

This one is really fun and very underrated indeed. It gives you a level with an objective, how you solve it is entirely up to you. You can sneak to the objective, shoot your way through or cause mayhem by stacking boxes, explosive barrels and more. Also, the achievements on steam are all pictures of the developers cats.

Enderal: Forgotten Stories

It is actually a Skyrim mod but basically a complete game that just happens to be built upon Skyrim. It features full professional quality voice acting in German and English, new game systems inspired by the Gothic series, a setting separate from Elder Scrolls, and a story that gets close to the quality of Planescape Torment or Disco Elysium. I can’t recommend it enough.

If they grandfather existing subscribers in it might work for a few months or years, and what does the current Reddit leadership care if that community survives longer than they stay at the company. They also might make a few sales with paywalled celebrity IAmA threads. In any case I will watch from the sidelines and enjoy the spectacle 🍿.

As with everything in the EU, eId needs to be implemented separately by 27 member states and some states do it better than others. I am just lucky to live in a state that does e-government quite well all things considered.

This is not surprising. When Tesla started out they had not much competition. Now that all the other carmakers have entered the market it is much harder to maintain their lead. Tesla losing market share was pretty much to be expected and Musk alienating their customers and the laughable Cybertruck certainly did not help.

Joining at this point would require an insane effort on the UKs side. I am pretty sure that an undemocratic institution like the house of lords would not be acceptable under current EU laws and that is not even accounting for the UKs voting system. The UK would also have to join the currency union. The last point alone makes rejoining very unlikely in my opinion. I think the only thing UK citizens can realistically hope for is, at best, something similar to the Norway model.

You can decide that only for yourself so give it a go. Personally, I would categorize it as inoffensive radio friendly alternative rock.
