->Enter Thesis defense. Scream “Your thesis sucks!”. You or your thesis now have to fight me
Tbh this scenario sounds way better to me than asking detailed questions about methodology or the results. But somehow I want to keep my job.
Alternative: “But we already have pandemic at home”.
Please don’t tell the professor about us having fun instead of working.
Maybe not genetically, but fun fact about sneezing-quirks: There exists "Sneezing induced by sexual ideation or orgasm. Source: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?cluster=2084455232396039941&hl=de&as_sdt=0,5#d=gs_qabs&t=1716906331494&u=%23p%3D-Y8j_fJVLLsJ
They forgot the difference between drinking and non-drinking water.
Not enough preparation for saving energy overnight.
It is the most efficient but I guess since demand is so high landlords can increase rents a lot, even if space is used super neat. At least in my country there is still a huge drain into the cities and renting/buying in the countryside is way more affordable. My second guess is that it’s not that easy to build new housing, even if more efficient, in already dense cities. Nobody wants to tear older houses down (expensive) if it still works and you can make a good living on renting them. Maybe some incentive on building newer housing could be a start.
But Dresden is not in Sachsen Anhalt.
Really? I always heard about lots of jobs in Dresden, but maybe that’s just my bubble of people.
And on the same time people look almost shocked when I state that me and my SO “Just” bought a flat and not a house. Like they do not see the prices and reality of wages. Like bruh…We could afford a house, if we wanted to pay the bank until we retire and work fulltime all the time. Which is not gonna happen with kids and generally unlikely.
It’s not easy but we are trying!
I think it depends. I am really no expert in costs for energy storage and it would really be interesting to see if this projects tackles high energy costs in the long run and in which way. But if I compare the costs with the costs of building this storage and costs of highways construction in Europe, just to put it in some perspective, it does not seem to be much money.

The information is old, but this sum would roughly buy you 20km Highway in Slovakia. Which is not much.
This sounds so cool. I really hope other cities and countries will do similar things, it sounds really neat to store electricity when it’s cheap and also use “heat waste” from datacenters and such.
B-EGG for Mercy!
You failed very taysty!
Gave Fallout New Vegas another Go, started it 10 years ago but never finished it for some reasons, life happened blah blah… I am very excited to take a few hours out of every week for it!
Great, now I have a scenario in my head where one early human delivers a punch and dies of having not the right hands and the other dies because no chin. Also: Imagine our fists if there had been more habsburgs.
